The Doo Wop Girls Training Classes
This unique class prepares girls to perform song and dance concerts with songs from the 1950's and 1960's throughout the community. Girls perform regularly wearing poodle skirts, saddle oxfords and scarves. (discounts available for piano and voice students)
THE DOO WOP GIRLS INTENSIVE (dw-5)
Dates: June 14-18
Location: New Hope Christian Church
Times: 9:30-11:30 a.m.
Ages: 9-12 years
Days: Monday-Friday
Description: Learn a 15 minute concert consisting of songs from the 1950’s and 1960’s. A concert will be held on Friday at 11:30 a.m. and girls can choose to join the group after the concert.
Cost: $65.00* each girl
THE DOO WOP GIRLS SUMMER PROGRAM (dw-6)
Dates: June 24-August 12
Location: New Hope Christian Church
Times: 3:00-5:00 p.m. - New Girls, 4:00-6:00 p.m. - Old Girls
Ages: 9-12 years
Days: Thursdays
Description: Learn the dances for a half hour concert consisting of songs from the 1950’s and 1960’s. The two groups work together for 1 hour each week. At the end of the session the girls will participate in a short concert and they can choose to join the group after the concert.
Cost: $65.00* each girl (plus $4.00 for Doo Wop Binder)
*NOTE: When signing up for either Doo Wop program you may attend both programs for the price of one.
